At Biomed 2026, NINA Medical Co-Founder and CEO Shmuel Ben-Ezra discussed the company's ongoing clinical progress, highlighting the initiation of its First-in-Human trial at Rambam Medical Center. Emphasizing that "we are moving toward an era where prostate ablation is as non-invasive as a standard ultrasound," Ben-Ezra outlined the technical framework behind NINA’s extracorporeal perineal approach, which applies high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) from outside the body to target prostate tissue.

Clinical Progress and Operational Outlook

Ben-Ezra shared an overview of the ongoing study, noting that initial milestones are contributing foundational data to the evaluation of the technology. Beyond the clinic, the presentation turned its focus to scalable execution.
