ABOUT NINA Medical

Our Vision

Treatment without trauma. NINA Medical develops image-guided focal therapy technologies, expanding the scope of next generation medicine. In focal therapy, the surgeon’s knife is replaced with a beam of focused energy, directed to the diseased tissue (such as a tumor), providing local and selective therapy. The technology aims to facilitate treatment at the target tissue alone, without cutting healthy tissue along the way. Since no tearing of tissue occurs, bleeding and post-operative infections are absent, pain and overall trauma for the patient are greatly reduced.
NINA Medical is committed to provide innovative solutions that will reduce the cost and increase the accessibility of high-quality medicine to the public. As a result, an increased number of people will be able to receive the medical care they need.

Our Goals

Close the loop with ultrasound

HIFU is a proven technology with an untapped potential. Treatment guidance is one of the major challenges for wider adoption of the technology. Closing the loop of control with imaging ultrasound can make the difference.

Non-invasive therapy – reformulated

At NINA Medical we are seeking different solutions to well-known problems. We question the validity of old axioms and don’t hesitate to suggest new approaches. We are focusing on finding ways to minimize trauma for the patient during and after treatment.

Simplify medical care

We envision a world that offers high quality care for everyone who needs it, in their neighborhood. Next generation medical care is expected to find alternatives to the knife and scalpel, for the benefit of reducing bleeding and infections, as well as the need for anaesthesia during surgery.
